Sad sad...this is the reason why I ended up buying my own dog. Tried to adopt and applied to a few rescues. Turned down point blank just because I do not have a yard, lived in a condo eventhough I am at home 24/7. Weird policies. I even had a phone interview at one point of time and the lady was asking me in a rude way if I will let my dog run leash free when I walk it. I said no I will never because I live in the city and she made it sound like I will
Needless to say, I didn't get the dog.
