Savannah is wonderful and very dog friendly. My husband and I used to go all the time for 3 day weekends. You can go expensive or not depending on how close you want to be to River Street.

I saw my first Newfoundland on River Street. I love the street musicians and watching the big ships come in. You can do dinner cruises, too.

And there's always the shopping..............
