Please please please keep them 100% sepearated 24/7. Do NOT let them even get near each other. I can't believe how many threads I see on here from people saying that they tried so hard to keep their dogs apart and then they accidentally got together at some point. Do NOT let this happen or I guarantee your female will have major problems - she could die! Bulldogs are a large dog with HUGE heads and there is NO WAY a 4lb yorkie could welp those puppies! Honestly, maybe you should have the male kept away from your home for the next 3-4 weeks just to be safe. Accidents happen and this is NOT one you want to happen... Also, keep an eye on her 24/7 - don't leave her outside unattended at all. You wouldn't believe how hard males try to get to a female in heat and it can happen in only a minute...
