I tried for over A YEAR to adopt before I broke down and bought my Tootie and again when I got little Hopey. It seems to me that the firsts people they would want to give babies to would be one like mine..
I mean, my kids complain cuz I like the dogs better...

Alot of them really are WAY too picky. I agree that they need to screen the people that adopt these dogs (obviously) - but I think this is one of the MAJOR reasons why
more people don't adopt - because it is just extremely difficult alot of times. It really is very sad
