If your yorkie honks when he coughs get him to a vet as soon as possible. Try and get a vet that specializes in toy dogs.There are some treatments that can help. There is no cure for this condition.My vet did all he could. He taught me how to use the nebulizer, loaned me the oxygen bottle and cart and had his medicine compounded to a liquid as we couldn't give him pills.He really worked with us for a year before we lost noway. Donot use plug-in oil warmers or smoke near your yorkie. I pray this will help some yorkie owner, so they won't lose their beloved pet. |
