Hard to say how much a vet will charge. My vet charges around 6.oo per puppy(tails and dews and puppy check). My friends vet charges 100 per puppy for the same thing. I do the tails and dews myself. No need to stress out mom and the pups and expose them to disease. Also, I start shaving ears and butts around 3 weeks of age. I use a 5/8 blade for this. ONly if I have a really loppy ear do I tape it. Then the pups is separated as the other pups will just tear the tape off. Good luck, Lynn |
