Sarge has been a dream in potty-training. Of course there have been accidents but they're usually my fault. He can go about 6-8 hours (overnight) without going, but during the day I take him out every hour or so. I plan to increase the time between potty-breaks slowly so he has a chance to learn to hold it and to signal in some way that he needs to go out. I wish I had gotten the medium sized crate, that sounds like a great idea for overnight. I ended up cutting a crate-sized hole in a large cardboard box and opened the door into the box so he could go on the paper if he needed too. That didn't last long since he gained weight and could knock the box over. My little fat boy
