To determine where the allergy comes from, you'd have to do an "elimination diet" to see if it's food. If it was seasonal, one would think her eyes would be watery and/or she'd be biting/licking her paws more. You could try a leave-in spray-on conditioner, but I don't know if that would truly do anything. Vets can do allergy testing, but it isn't cheap! |
I mix boiled down chicken and veggies with her Nutro Ultra dry food, or I mix in the Nutro soft food lamb & rice with it when I am in a hurry. I am just learning how to do the homefood, so I haven't done too much yet. She isn't licking/biting her paws or showing watery eyes. I will try the conditioner first and go from there. She is only 6 months right now, so it could just be puupy dry skin
