He quit eating on Wednesday, September 26 and I was able to bring him home Friday, October 12th. The vet thinks he either had a bad tummy ache or he may have had a mild case of pancreatitis. After being on an IV for the first night, he was looking much better and the vet thought he might have been able to go home that night except that evening, he quit eating again. It took a couple of days, but they found an infection from his IV which she believes may have caused him to quit eating. After the infection cleared up, he was looking much better, so the vet decided to let him sit a while longer on the IV until he had his fluids up again at which time she let me take him home. He's doing great now, eating by himself and playing every now and then. He's still pretty weak, but he tries to be active. It'll just take time until he gets to be himself again.
