Same thing happened to Toto! The only thing different in her life was our new carpet ... Dr. Lucy said it could be the dye! She gave her antihistimine, a different rinse for her hair and told us to have the carpet steam cleaned. So far, so good. She said also that other factors could trigger allergies such as extreme summer heat, etc. Since Toto seldom goes outside we have to assume it is the carpet.
