Your post concerns me. If your puppy is having a back problem, with the pain shot he got, he has a false sense of feeling fine and then can hurt it more by running or playing or going up or down steps. My daughter's yorkie is having a back problem right now and the vet told my daughter to keep Kirby in his crate and only take him out to potty now and then...to carry him out and to carry him back in when he's done. She can also sit with him on her lap and put some heat on his back. With Kirby, last week he had a protruding disc and this week it had ruptured. It is now pushing into the spinal cord and if it severs it, he would be paralyzed. I'm not meaning to scare you...just wanted to tell you that it is important to keep them quiet so it can heal without doing further damage. Sending get well wishes to little Baby!
