I think it would be fine for a 2 pound yorkie as long as he/she has enough hair to clip. My little girls hair is thin so I rubber band it and than clip through that so you can do that as well.
The smallest of the clips is the little flowers (number 23) if you are looking for something REALLY small. Thanks and let me know!
