I always told everyone that one day, that boy is gonna be one great hitter. Now he's 35 and in Boston, and he just keeps getting better. BUT, I don't want him to be hitting during this series. The Red Sox players seem like a great group of guys who have fun personalities. But, they went to the World Series a few years ago, it's OUR turn!!! I LOVE baseball!! I even named my first yorkie after Jacobs Field (Jake). |
We are also die hard Indians fans. Our grandson was born during the 2nd game of the world series in 1995. I stayed in the waiting room with my granddaughter and watched the game while our daughter was giving birth. I became a huge Kenny Lofton fan at the end of that series when they lost and Kenny was the only one who spoke after the game and thanked the fans for their support. I was crushed when they traded him but continued to follow his career. I am so happy he is back were he belongs, in Cleveland. He is a great team leader and one classy guy.
