when i got my yorkie i would put him in his crate and when ever i would walk away he will start crying they eventually get over it because if u correct him he react and stop because he will notice that you only come over to his crate to correct him so he'll stop. it only takes a week. walking will make him do his business he wont get bored (he wont be destructive/nibbling on stuff).
