First, let me say that I don't think it is dumb at all, but actually a great idea! Are you sure her glands need expressed? That is something that once you start, it is ongoing. The glands don't cause the poop to stick to her, but leak an oily, very VERY stinky fluid. Have you trimmed the hair off back there?
