It really works both ways. When my son saw the attention Kalina was getting he decided he had to get "one of those". Of course he didn't get one, because I convinced him that's not the right reason. Instead he just "borrows" Kalina now and then.
Also, the other day I was walking Kalina and I walked past the house being renovated on my block. Two big construction workers were walking down the sidewalk, work boots, hard hats, big tool belts around the waist. Well, Kalina went nuts when she saw them and had to be petted by them. I wish I had a camera of those two big, brawny guys down on the ground playing with Kalina and saying "She's so cute". It was priceless.
Last but not least, there is a commercial for a dating service that shows a good looking guy holding a little Yorkie. Definately warm and sensitive if he owns a Yorkie.
