I am an application developer. I take out-of-the-box software and customize for in company use. Like a company makes a software (like peoplesoft) and they make it generic yet customizable so they can market it to many different companies. Then in house programmers (application developers) develop customizations to that software, based on how they run their business so it works for them. Thats what I do! if you followed that.
