I've had pain for a few years now. You need to have your doctor do an MRI on you so you can find out if there is disc damage.
I've also been on Celebrex for a few years now. It takes care of the pain for the most part, but I do have flare ups once in a while, and I have to take narcotic pain meds to take care of that. Thankfully, they are few and far between. I just had a terrible flare up this past week that made things pretty difficult.
