Yes, I agree with everyone else. Maddie wasn't FULLY trained until about 8 or 9 months, Sophie is getting better but is still not completely there. Maddie used to do the same thing, she would just sit down. I'm thinking she probably doesn't understand what you want her to do. Make sure you say to her over and over again the word you want her to know, for example, "go potty" or "go out." Then say it consistently EVERY time!
And you HAVE to be very very patient...I know it's tough...sometimes I have to stand out in the cold in the middle of the night for 20 minutes...but once they go, and get a treat, the next time they do SO much better! Hang in there, she'll get it. These little guys just can't hold it very long! |
