This is my first post here. I don't have a Yorkie, but my daughter does. I have Mini Schnauzer puppies(girls). She had Maya spayed after her first heat and it seem to have worked out pretty well. I think she was around a year old. My little girls are 7 months and have not come into heat. I am going to have them spayed as well, but I am looking into the minimal invasive type of surgery.
