If your son has an IEP, then get a lawyer and sue the school system. I worked in an elementary school for over 13 years and understand that there are fantastic great wonderful teachers and administrators and then the other kind that shouldn't be trusted with a pack of wild pigs. Get a lawyer and sue the system and the teacher. That will get their attention and the help that your son needs. Don't waste precious time waiting for them to do something chances are they are too busy covering for each other.

A good teacher and system would recognize that your son needed special help and would go out of thier way to see that he got it.
