It's much safer to crate them or put them in an xpen, than to let them run..they can get ahold of a refrigerator cord and be electrocuted, not worth it...how old is your baby? Once they're done chewing(around a year or so), if they're housebroken, then they should be able to run..mine were left to run once they were done with the chewing stage..I always had a problem with using a crate also, felt bad for them, but, I do have the xpen with everything they need in it, and I don't have to worry about them chewing on the doors, walls, or wires |
