Yesterday was the Brazos County Animal Shelter's first annual Weiner Fest! The main event of course were dachshund races. There were like 200 dachshunds entered in the races! There was also a Best Dressed Pet Parade in the morning which we missed because I stayed up way too late the night before making these outfits that Lacy and Rylie wore...I just had to wait til the last minute to make them..LOL. I don't know how all of you clothes and bow makers do it - it takes me so long to make a dress and a bow and I had to multiply that by two this time! I think they turned out cute though and I thought Lacy and Rylie looked so cute matching! There were so many people at Weiner Fest! At least 1000..probably more...which is big here..Haha. There were venders there and events for kids and food. It was really fun! I'm excited that they are going to be doing this every year. I sure wish they'd have a Yorkie Fest though!
