OMG...that is totally out of line.
I like to think that if I were in the same situation that I'd let her have it, but I can imagine being caught off guard like that.
You have nothing to apologize for. It's none of her damn business! Don't feel bad about yourself for another moment! I'm sure you are far more beautiful than she could ever be even if she were a size 2!!
