I have discussed this with my vet and she suggested an animal behaviourest in a distant city of which I don't have access to. I have watched The dog Whisperer and learned a great deal about pack behaviour from him, and actually have corrected my behaviour around Maxie. She responds to me as the pack leader but when I bring little Missy around her, Missy is so terrified of Maxie that I end up taking her back to our room.
