Each pup is different, so it is hard to say. Sissy was back to normal activity within two days and never had a problem. Angel was a different story. She wouldn't stay still at all. The incision should not be red or swollen. You can probably try a little peroxide on a q-tip to clean the area. It if continues to look like dried blood or gets more of it, I would consult your vet.
