Yes, you could loose your female. C-sections by appointment are not recommended by most reputable vet's or breeders. Why would you want to add a C-section fee to the cost of a stud fee and the average cost of breeding and raising a litter.

Reading about the breed and whelping is a start, attending seminars, classes is your next step, learning the standard inside and out is another step......There is also the cost of prebreeding tests.....Stud Fees vary from region to region, pedigree and demand of the stud.
