obedience/socialization classes are best when it's young. 3 months is probably a good time to start. there are some smaller towns around my city that have plenty of dog shows/obedience trainers. some breeders are actually trainers as well. if you have a vet in your town, ask them if they know of any trainers/classes. im sure they'll have some leads for you.

if your pup is biting, he's teething. put one of those teething rings in his mouth - some of them actually have the ability to clean their teeth too! they have them at all pet stores.
