Default How accurate was the x2, x3 formula on weight for you?

How accurate do you find the weight formula given many times to estimate the adult weight of a yorkie?
If you are unfamilair with the formula its take your yorkie puppies weight at 8 weeks and triple it or take the yorkies weight at 12 weeks and double it to get an estimated adult weight.
In example; 8wk old puppy 2 lbs= 2x3= 6 lb adult yorkie
12 wk old puppy 2 lbs= 2x2= 4 lb adult yorkie

I am very interested to see how many of you who knew your yorkies weight at these ages and now have an adult dog (8mths or up) find this formula pretty accurate or inaccurate. Please write a reply if you like too, such as the wt difference from formula! Also if your dog was in good health or undernourished when you bought him or her.
