My Yorkie Coty has been missing since May 13th. I had initially decided not to microchip him and my other dog Tyson because I thought if they got loose the person that had him wouldn't necessarily take him to the vet to "find" the owner. As heartbroken as I am, I can't say that I would in fact have my pets chipped today because the person that picked my pet up still hasn't returned him despite flyers everywhere and a $1,000 reward, so the fact that he might have been microchipped probably wouldn't play a factor in this evil person's thought process.

I do applaud the vet that scans any new patients to see if they are microchipped! After this incident with my dog, you can best believe that I am working on how to remedy the problem of reuniting lost pets with their owners.
