Default Banfield Pet Hospital is the ABSOLUTE WORST

I am so angry and frustrated right now! I used to be a total fan of the Wellness Plan at Banfield Pet Hospital, found in most Petsmarts but now I am at my wits end with them. They just cancelled my plan!

First they called me telling me it was time for me to bring Bleu in for his comprehensive ezam but that I had to drop him off because they couldn't do it with me there, which I didn't understand at all. So after going back and forth as to why, against my better judgement, I agreed. Then they called me back the day before I was to drop him off to tell me they needed to reschedule and scheduled for a day that I could go in with him. They said initially that I couldn't stay because the exam would take so long but then, basically retracted that. I took him in and they gave him a half-ass exam and sent us on our way. As I looked over the brochure I saw the description of what the comprehensive plan was supposed to include and began to ask, well what was this test and that exam and why wasn't it done during his exam? The person at the front desk said, "oh, that's what they did when the vet took him in the back"....but she never took him in the back. Long story short, she did not give him the full exam and had a major attitude with me for even asking about what was and wasn't done.

When I got home, I called Banfield's corporate office and let them know what had happened. Today, two days later, I got a call saying that my plan has been cancelled and all the money that I have paid so far toward his Castration, which was included in the plan, is lost. THEN, when I asked to speak to a supervisor after the customer service rep couldn't help me, the supervisor refused to get on the phone. Not one time did I raise my voice, or act irate, or give them any reason to say that I was being difficult. They just did not care and told me that they can start me on another plan, extending my contract, at another location....yeah right! I am soooo disappointed at the way I have been treated! So much for customer service!
