As far as the pill, if you still haven't gotten her to take it, here's something you could try. Take two spoons...put the pill in one spoon...place the other spoon over the spoon with the pill in it...grind the spoons together to crush up the pill. Then just open Daisy's mouth and pour it in. It works great for me. No way can I get Maddie to take a pill!

Ahh Thank you Connie.. I did get her to take the pills.
I had to go to the store and get some liverworst. worked like a charm. the dogs go crazy for it.. LOL
they only ever get it if they need to take a pill so.. it is like christmas to them.. I should have gotten some before I brought her home...
