Getting your dogs as pups will help with that, if they are always used to cats then they won't know any better. My cat is the oldest of all my animals right now and all the pups have done fine with her, although I don't know if our 18 wk old yorkie and 19wk old boston even know we have a cat.
She tends to keep to herself most times and likes to hang out in the basement. Cats are very good at getting away from dogs if they don't want to be bothered so I wouldn't be concerned
