I have a cat, yorkie and a chihuahua. My 10 month old yorkie and my cat are best friends. The play together like children play. The run circles around the house. First they will pass and the cat is chasing the dog, on the next pass the dog is chasing the cat. I have never had any fights between the two. When I had yorkies 15 years ago I had a cat then also and still didn't have any problems.
