 Why?
Yes, they were first ratters. My first Yorkie did kill a mouse at a friend's house, so that is still in the genes. Later, they became a ladies dog, keeping silk weavers company. Somewhere along the way, they were crossed with Maltese to soften the coat -- the Yorkies, not the weavers.
Dogs have been with humans for more years than we can imagine. Aren't we lucky to have abd love and be loved by our Yorkies?! |
