Although I don't walk mine in real cold weather, ours seems to do much better when the weather is colder than warmer. She does not do well in warm weather. However, she loves snow. I am not much of an outdoor walker. I use my treadmill; so Sophie doesn't get many walks. I would say that as long as her paws are not getting frozen or icy, and she has her coat and walks quickly, she should be fine going out for a short time.
