I've been through the same thing... While at home. i caught cody chewing on 3 different walls all the way to the wood. i tapped him on the butt with the newspaper and said no firmly and started playing with him. I repainted the walls. he doesn't really mess with them anymore... now his thing is chewing up the carpet.
