I don't know a lot about broken backs, but yesterday I went with my daughter to take her yorkie to the vet. He was in pain and we didn't know why. It turns out he has a bad disc in his back and the vet said we have to be very careful with him and not let him jump or go up or down stairs. He said if the pushes on the bone around the spinal cord, it could break through and then he would be paralyzed. It is so scary. Kirby should be okay...just needs time to heal. I hope your friends dog is able to come out of whatever this is. Poor baby. |
thats excatly what they told her, he has keystones in his urine though to, he is still in the hospital, not eating & barley drinking, I dont know what the outcome is going to be , but it does not look good
