I bought my first dog in April....a yorkie we named Pebbles. She is 7 mos old and got spayed on Oct. 1st. She developed an abscess, supposedly from internal sutures and had to have one of her kidneys removed. They tell me she can live normally with one kidney. Our hearts break for her, because she is going through all of this. Does anyone have a similar experience or a yorkie with one kidney?
