Have tons of patience, my first three were rescues, so this taught me a lot.
He will come around, but like it was said in another reply, he will sense it if your boyfriend does not like him, that same puppy being with you at a young age, would be all together different...
He needs time to adjust, and feel comfortable, they all at an older age take different times. Depending on how it was for them previously.
He will have you guys trained in no time, most yorkies do...just kidding!!!
He will be fine as two of the three of my first yorkies had been abused, much harder but we did it, and were well rewarded. I bet he will even do more to please you as he will be so happy to now be loved and in a forever home. |
