Our vet said Gizmo wouldn't need pain meds either. When we asked about them, they said he was doing fine and wouldn't need them.
However, when we got home he started whimpering. It was close to 5 on a Friday, so I called back. Vet tech started to give me a speil, so I said, "Okay, you listen to him then!" and put the phone to Gizmo. He wimpered again and I asked her what she would do.
LOL...she said to come in for pain meds. (By the way...he only needed that one dose.)
