Heh, heh! I got a birthing box ready for Lucy today..she's due in a couple of days. Put an absorbant rug in the bottom, and some towels. My husband asked if that wasnt a little "rough" for the newborns to arrive on. I asked him what he had in mind and he said maybe a soft pillow or something. Something in the way he said that made me ask what exactly he expected to happen when they were born, did he not realize it could be a little messy to be using pillows on? Needless to say, no he did not realize at all. Just kinda laughing to myself at the thought.....he thought they would come out all clean and shiney like a new penny............he's new to this but come on!!!! I thought it was cute. He'll be REALLY surprised if he's around to watch..Wonder how he would take watching a human baby's birth..
