Our neighbor's dog, a Border Collie, just went through the treatment for heartworms. It's supposed to be really rough on their system. Supposedly she had to be tied up and not allowed to run around at all or else the dying worms could detach and cause damage or death. Is that true? She made it okay though. Glad that Charlie is doing well.
