Your dog is just being watchful like"nana" form peter pan..hahahaha My Toby is like this with my 2 kids they they go down for anap and we are all down stairs he'll go and stay with the kids, or if they don't feel well he is a constant companion to me and them
He is jsut protectung them like agood member of the family
