I think "he's just a dog" is a horrible thing for a vet to say. They are sapoably animal lovers and it sounded so negative. I personally would of left and looked for a new vet. I ask tons of questions and express all my concerns for my dog, from teeth, fleas, coat and my vet never says "oh don't worry about it hes a just a dog"
He educates me on what I don't know, and what I can do to help him (Toby).
