I live out in the country. The laws state that you can't discharge a firearm inside the city limits, but doesn't mention the county.

I own guns, but I have to go to a gun range to practice with them. It would even be different if Bear had been hit by a car and injured to the point where she was literally crazy with pain or in pieces, (It was after vet hours [I think any vet would've met the man at the office in this case] and the nearest ER vet is 2 hours away) but she wasn't - she was just lying there trying to get up.

The guy laid her in a sheet and dragged her to the edge of his backyard and buried her.
