Mine does (I think it is actually called a pre-wash cycle), I don't think they they all do but many do. If you don't have one you can just run it through a very short wash cycle (with or without detergent) prior to the the real wash cycle with detergent. If it is really bad you may want to add Odo Ban or something to the last rinse after washing. Hope this helps.
