Then, after we've used those for awhile with no more accidents (she normally goes to her pee pad, which is in her doggy litter pan, 100% of the time with NO accidents), we try the washable pads again, and the same cycle keeps happening. After we tried the washable ones this last time, my husband said NO MORE...and we placed an order for 300 pads from Kevin, and Sukoshi's been using the disposable pads ever since. I was washing the washable pads every other day (I had 6, so I put down 3 one day and 3 the next), and she would still venture away from them. You just have to find out what works best for your dog, and we LOVE Kevin's pads because they are so cheap you can just throw them away after they've been used a couple times, and you don't feel like you're wasting a bunch of money! |
My guess is you are changing the disposable pads more often than you did the washable ones. A dog usually won't go on the pee pad (of either kind) anymore if it is TOO soiled/wet. I would recommend changing out the washable ones every day instead of every other day. Just my experience.
