That was good advice Lara. I think any Yorkie needs to eat atleast twice a day. I know some people do feed once but 24 hours between meals is way too long. Leave the food for about 15 or 20 minutes. If he refuses to eat one of his meals then I guess there is nothing you can do about it unless you want to get the canned out.
About the water, please leave it down all day. Most (not all but most) dogs drink only when they are thirsty. They don't drink for the fun of it, so please leave it down.
