Prayers going out for your little Royce. I have something encouraging to tell you. My senior Yorkie, Granny Spanky (12 Years old), was tested last year for reduced kidney function; her original BUN level was way above normal. She was immediately put on a special kidney diet, Canine K/D. She appeared to be in the very early stages of the disease. Well, at her last checkup (almost a year later), her BUN level was normal,

something I was sure I would never see again! So please don't be discouraged, there is always hope they can regain normal, or close to normal function.

Let us know test results, I feel for you, being so worried about Royce,
